We want you to love every jar of Sumo Spice. Our healthy chili crisp is made with avocado oil, no seed oils, and no added sugar, salt, soy or MSG, but if your order is not right for any reason, we’ll help make it right.

Your satisfaction comes first. We stand behind every jar we make, which is why we created the Sumo Guarantee: a simple, worry-free return policy for Sumo Spice chili crisp orders.
If you are not happy with your first purchase of a flavor, contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we’ll help with a refund or exchange.
What’s Covered
All U.S. Orders
Every Sumo Spice order shipped within the United States is covered by our return policy.
Any Reason
Defective or not, new or opened, if you are not satisfied with your chili crisp, we’ll help make it right.
Refund or Exchange
You can request a refund or exchange. If one flavor was not your thing, we’re happy to help you try another Sumo Spice flavor.
Return Window
Standard Return Policy
Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order to request a refund or exchange.
Holiday Return Policy
Purchases made from Thanksgiving through December are covered until January 31.
How Returns Work
Return Options
Products can be returned by mail or in person at Sumo Spice headquarters.
No Restocking Fee
We do not charge restocking fees for returns.
Return Shipping
A prepaid return label is not automatically included. If your order needs to be mailed back, customers are responsible for return shipping unless we let you know the return is not required.
Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrived damaged, missing an item, or included the wrong product, email us at hello@sumospice.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We’ll review it and help with a replacement, refund, or exchange.
Refund Timing

Refunds and exchanges are approved and processed by Sumo Spice within 2 business days.
Credit Card Timelines
After we process your refund, your bank or card issuer may take additional time to show the credit on your account. That timing is controlled by your bank or card provider.
How to Start a Return
Email hello@sumospice.com with your order number and reason for return. Even if the reason is simply “this flavor didn’t vibe with me,” that’s okay. We’ll take it from there.
